Way too MIA and Welcome to 2012!

Well I must say that I have been so MIA I am not sure you can even call it MIA. Here is a quick breakdown of the last few weeks in pictures...

Westin vacuuming our tree...

a few homemade ornaments (epsom salt, glittered leaves, marbles, lots of fun!)

our tree all lit up!

our first married Christmas card :)

Sarah's Baby Shower! Including a beautiful cake, Giraffes, books, presents, lots of fun ladies, name suggestions, yummy food cooked by Justin, Giraffes, baseball themed clothing, animal hats, all in all good times, and oh yeah giraffes and books!

new skin regimens--aka one of my 2012 resolutions! beautiful skin!

On our way to Destin, FL after our red-eye flight from Orange County to Atlanta--great ride because Westin drove the whole way as I slept--gotta love that guy!

woke up for 30 seconds to take this picture--lots of road choices and the exact place my parents took wrong turn taking them 2 hours out of the way--its ok, they made it to the beautiful beach--aghhhhh! heaven.

The kiddos of the Galloway Family--adooooorable!

Christmas Day and Dinner and exploring new iPhone apps :)

Westin gets iced by Britt and Brandon at the Schneider Christmas Exchange--priceless!

A few highlights from New Years Eve--Picachu backpacks, pb&j mid-party, ATL friends, new girlfriends that we adore, having a great time and missing our East Coast BFF's--its time to move back I say!!!

Last but not least, a CLEAN menu, outlook, and sense of being for 2012. Loving new recipes and delish food. My 30 day Food Journal Challenge has begun. More details and feedback along the way.

I hope everyone had a fabuloso culmination to 2011! I had a lot of pics and happenings to squeeze into this much overdo post. In keeps with my 2012 resolutions here are a few mentionables: blog at least 3-4 times a week, take cooking classes, attend Dave Ramsey finance class, run another marathon, half marathon, and break 20 minutes in the 5k, reduce amount of time watching tv, read 10 books this year, nag less enjoy more, take at least one international trip/vacation, smile everyday.

Should be do-able...we will see...

XOXO friends!!!

  1. 1. Seriously think about 5 years ago. Then think about your running new year's resolutions. Amazing! Inspired. I am adding running a half-marathon to my resolutions.

    2. I am curious about this diet. You know, for post baby, my current "diet" is a joke. For example, last night I ate 4 large chocolate chip cookies... I ate the last 2 by breaking off pieces and pretending I wasn't going to go back for more. In my defense, Justin made them so they were awesome.

    3. Giraffes and books make the world-go-round. Fact.
