Guest Blogger WESTIN and Part Three: More Pictures

From the initial brainstorming sessions to the carrying out of the vows the whole experience was so special. Trying to plan a wedding in a place that has never really had one before can be exciting, frustrating, tiresome, exhilarating, and very rewarding all at the same time. This place has such a special meaning for me and my family and I am so glad that in starting a new branch on the family tree we were able to do it at such a magical place. It was amazing to see the whole Galloway community pause for one day just for us. We are very blessed and sincerely appreciate all the work and preparation that went into it. I want to give a special shout out to my mom who had some long and frustrating days up at the school just making sure that this was all possible. We are very grateful for your time and energy and I love you and I think Mel does too...

The day was perfect. Pape' came through on the weather (as always) and we could not have asked for a better group of family and friends to share this experience with. Since I am giving shout outs I would like to thank everyone that had a part in making this all happen from the showers to the flowers, the meetings to the clean up, you all made it such a memorable day for us and one we will never forget.
It was such a glorious day and these will be pictures that we will cherish forever.

The Wedding: Part Two

So here we are again, Part Two of the Wedding series. These photos show some of my favorite details: the cart of flowers that each guest picked from to add to the unifying bouquet, the wedding fan programs (I die for them), the aisle flowers, the guest book table with the type writer and "schneider" box...

But I also love all the photos of the crowd outside the school on that beautiful September day--so pretty! Every photo of Westin and I during the ceremony makes me laugh because I can see our emotions in each one--from excited to anxious to relaxed and happy!

One of my very favorite pictures is Westin and all the groomsmen with the statue of Westin's grandfather Elliot, the Founder of the Galloway School--such a special photo for Westin and his family :)

Enjoy!

Our Wedding: Part One

The moment is finally here! We have our wedding pictures back and I am so pumped to share them! There were so many hours put into the magical day and its so amazing to reflect on the photos. I have to give serious credit to friends and family who did all the centerpieces, bouquets, filmed the ceremony and reception, served as our officiants, set up tables, hauled around boxes, set up the photo booth, played the music, and danced their faces off--the list could go on and on, but Westin and I are so thankful for all of the help and sweat and love that so many people showed our families! Please enjoy our wedding Part One: Getting Ready & Group Shots

And to leave you in extreme anticipation...
